Terms & Conditions

1. Bookings & Appointments

All bookings are subject to review and confirmation by Painted by Paige. Your appointment is not confirmed until you receive confirmation from me directly.

A booking fee is required to secure your appointment. Your slot will not be held until this fee has been received.

Appointments for nail services typically last around 2 hours. Please allow enough time in your schedule and avoid rushing your appointment.

2. Booking Fee

A fixed booking fee is taken for each appointment to secure your slot. This fee will be deducted from your total balance on the day.

If you cancel within the required notice period, your booking fee will be refunded or transferred to your new appointment. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice or fail to attend, your booking fee will not be refunded.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give at least 24 hours' notice. This allows me to offer the slot to another client.

Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 24 hours' notice will result in the loss of your booking fee.

No-shows (failing to attend without any notice) will also result in the loss of your booking fee, and repeat no-shows may result in being unable to book future appointments.

4. Punctuality & Arrival

Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in a reduced service time, as I need to stay on schedule for other clients.

If you are running more than 15 minutes late without notice, your appointment may need to be cancelled and the booking fee will not be refunded.

5. Appointment Guidelines

Please come to your appointment alone where possible. Space is limited and I want to create a relaxed environment for you.

Please arrive with bare, clean nails unless you are booked in for an infill service.

I take pride in my work and like to take my time to ensure the best results. Please be aware that appointments are approximately 2 hours long.

6. Consultation Forms

Some services require a consultation form to be completed before your appointment. This helps me assess suitability, identify any allergies, and ensure your safety.

If a consultation form is required and has not been completed, I may not be able to carry out your service. Please complete any forms sent to you in advance of your appointment.

7. Payment

Payment for services is due at the end of your appointment. Accepted payment methods are bank transfer and cash.

Your booking fee will be deducted from the total service cost, with the remaining balance to be paid on the day.

8. Refunds

I do not offer refunds for completed services. If you are unhappy with your nails, please get in touch within 48 hours and I will do my best to resolve the issue.

I reserve the right to assess any concerns and determine an appropriate resolution on a case-by-case basis.

9. Aftercare

Aftercare advice will be provided following your appointment. Please follow this guidance to help your manicure last as long as possible.

I cannot be held responsible for damage, lifting, or premature wear caused by not following aftercare instructions or by misuse of nails.

10. Your Data & Privacy

Any personal information you provide (such as your name, contact details, and consultation form responses) is used solely for the purpose of managing your bookings and appointments.

Your data will not be shared with third parties and is stored securely. If you would like your data removed, please get in touch.

11. Right to Refuse Service

I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a service if I believe it is unsafe or unsuitable to proceed. This includes, but is not limited to, allergic reactions identified during consultation, infections, or any condition that may pose a risk to your health.

In such cases, I will explain my reasoning and, where appropriate, offer to reschedule or provide a refund of any booking fee paid.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The most current version will always be available at the time of booking. By booking an appointment with Painted by Paige, you agree to the terms in place at the time of your booking.
